NYFW's Makeup on the Runway

New York Fashion Week- the two biggest weeks during the entire year in the fashion industry. If you're not familiar, February's fashion shows are for the that upcoming Fall/Winter. The September fashion shows are for that upcoming Spring/Summer that next year- it's a cycle. It is key in the fashion industry that things are planned ahead, this is why collections are made and showcased 6 months or more in advance.

Guess what was trending on the runways..... Natural Makeup!

Who would have guessed it. In the eyes of our media and society, fashion shows are known to do crazy and artistic looks to compliment the complicated looks. It is rare to see a "no-makeup but makeup" type of look. It is refreshing to see "fresh faces" considering the norm is to cover up features deemed as not aesthetic such as, moles, beauty marks, acne, freckles, eye bags, discoloration, etc.
